What chemistry stories to do you want to hear about?

Okay, enough about me …

I’ve been writing about what I think is interesting, and maybe (or maybe not) those stories have been interesting to you, too. Now, I want to hear from you — what chemistry stories can I tell you?

Perhaps you need some motivation or something to get your juices flowing… I’ll throw some topics out there to get things going:

  • How does a mass spectrometer work (for all the “CSI” watchers out there)
  • All the patterns in the periodic table
  • Isotopes/nuclear energy
  • Quantum mechanics vs. classical mechanics
  • Profile of a specific element (e.g., all you ever wanted to know about fluorine)
  • Profile of a specific chemical discovery (as best I can with what is documented)

Think back to when you were in Gen Chem or maybe even high school chemistry. There has to be a topic that made you think “how the hell do we even know that?”

Once you have that, you can put it in the comments below or if you’re too shy (that’s okay, I’m kind of shy, too), send me an email at organic@organic-live.com.

Well… I want you to send me some requests, dammit | Photo by Nick Fewings on Unsplash
